Subject: New Mexico - McNally headstone......

Hello,

I'm in California. However, when we travel we take photos of interesting and unusual headstones we find. Then, upon our return home, I try to find Internet sites to post the photos for other researchers. I've got 3 photos of an Irishman who died in NM with military honors. Any help posting his grand headstone would be appreciated.

I've posted to the Ireland and McNally mailing lists for 'caretakers' of the photos.

He's a long way from home, and to find him resting in a mountain top NM cemetery, was so surprising and very interesting. The cemetery where he was found was on a long road that ran from Hillsboro to Silver City. We were leaving my mother's house in Williamsburg (TorC) and decided to take a different route back to Lordsburg to get back to CA. We saw a tiny roadside marker about a cemetery, and just had to stop and look around.

Thank you.
